We are located at the corner of Kings Way and Park Street in beautiful South Melbourne, Australia.
Where do we deliver to?
Our client base is mostly inner Melbourne but we do functions all over Victoria and in Sydney.
Do you cater for vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, halal and kosher?
Yes we are able to caterer for any dietary requirements needed.

How can I set up an account?
Accounts are automatically activated once you place your first order with us

Do you accept Visa, MasterCard and Amex?
Yes, we accept Visa and MasterCard as well as company cheque or cash on delivery.
We do not accept American Express [AMEX].
A 2% surcharge applies to all credit card transactions.
Can I set up a direct debit into your bank account?
Yes, simply contact our accounts department [admin@alexcatering.com.au] for more information.
Is there a minimum dollar amount required for delivery?
Yes $30.00 minimum, but ask anyway and if we can help we will.
Is there a delivery fee?
A delivery fee of $5.50 [inc gst] per delivery for inner city and outer suburbs $22.00 [inc GST].
Are prices inclusive of G.S.T?
Yes, all prices include the Goods and Services Tax.
Do you have facilities to keep foods warm?
Yes, we can supply chaffing dishes which will keep your foods warm. Please refer to our Staff & equipment page.
Do you offer equipment and personnel?
Yes, we have a large range of catering equipment, professionally trained kitchen and waiting staff.
When you speak of sandwiches and rolls, what is a 'round'?
A round is a whole sandwich or roll or wrap. 1 round equals 1 whole item.
What is a ‘Point’?
One round equals 1 sandwich cut into 4 triangles. One of these triangles equals 1 point.
What is a ‘Club’?
A 'club sandwich' is 3 layers of bread with fillings. It is cut into 3 fingers and 1 finger equals 1 club.
